Ingredients
- Water – 450 ml
- Lipton Tropical Pineapple Green Tea – 3 bags
- Water – 500 ml
- Fresh mint leaves – 14-15
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp
- Honey – 2-3 tbsp (or to taste)
- Green food color – a few drops (optional)
- Chilled apple juice – 1 cup
- Ice cubes – as needed
- Lemon slice – 1
- Apple slices – 2-3
- Mint leaves – for garnish
Directions
Prepare the Green Tea:
- In a kettle, add 450 ml water and bring to a boil.
- Turn off the heat, add the tea bags, and let it steep for 4-5 minutes. Allow it to cool.
Prepare the Mint Syrup:
- In another kettle, add 500 ml water and bring to a boil.
- Add mint leaves, mix well, and simmer on low flame for 1 minute. Strain the mixture.
- Add lemon juice, honey, and green food color (if using), then mix well. Allow it to cool.
- Note: This mint syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 month and used in various mocktails, teas, and drinks.
Assemble the Iced Green Tea:
- In a jug, combine the cooled green tea, chilled apple juice, and prepared mint syrup. Mix well.
- In a serving glass, add ice cubes, lemon slice, and apple slices.
