Apple Mint Iced Green Tea Recipe

Quench your thirst with this refreshing and healthy Apple Mint Iced Green Tea, perfect for hot days or anytime you need a pick-me-up! Try this simple and delicious recipe at home.


Ingredients

  • Water – 450 ml
  • Lipton Tropical Pineapple Green Tea – 3 bags
  • Water – 500 ml
  • Fresh mint leaves – 14-15
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • Honey – 2-3 tbsp (or to taste)
  • Green food color – a few drops (optional)
  • Chilled apple juice – 1 cup
  • Ice cubes – as needed
  • Lemon slice – 1
  • Apple slices – 2-3
  • Mint leaves – for garnish

Directions

Prepare the Green Tea:

  1. In a kettle, add 450 ml water and bring to a boil.
  2. Turn off the heat, add the tea bags, and let it steep for 4-5 minutes. Allow it to cool.

Prepare the Mint Syrup:

  1. In another kettle, add 500 ml water and bring to a boil.
  2. Add mint leaves, mix well, and simmer on low flame for 1 minute. Strain the mixture.
  3. Add lemon juice, honey, and green food color (if using), then mix well. Allow it to cool.
  4. Note: This mint syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 month and used in various mocktails, teas, and drinks.

Assemble the Iced Green Tea:

  1. In a jug, combine the cooled green tea, chilled apple juice, and prepared mint syrup. Mix well.
  2. In a serving glass, add ice cubes, lemon slice, and apple slices.
  3. Pour the green tea mixture over the ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
